The Thurston County Auditor has mailed out the ballots for the November elections. You ballot should be in your mailbox or will arrive soon. Watch for it!
When your ballot arrives, find the Timberland Regional Library Proposition at the bottom of the front page. The Friends of the Lacey Library and the City of Lacey encourage you to vote YES!
Please vote and return your ballot promptly. At the last Primary election, 20,000 ballots in Washington State arrived too late to be counted. If you return your ballot by mail, mail early. Better yet, return your ballot to one of the 31 ballot drop box locations in the county.
Ballot boxes provide a free, secure and convenient way for you to vote and ensure your ballot is received on time. You do not need a stamp to use a ballot drop box.
Ballot drop boxes are:
- Open 24 hours a day during elections (From today until 8:00 pm on November 3).
- Emptied regularly by two Elections staff members.
- The best way to ensure your ballot is received on time.
