Books for Sale

At the Library

Carol and Art Book Place
Named in honor of Carol and Art Getchman, founders of the used book sale for the Friends of the Lacey Library. The Book Place is a kiosk where used books may be purchased any time the Lacey Timberland Library is open. There are great deals on gently used paperbacks, hardbacks, children’s books and more. Operating on the honor system, payment is placed in the depository next to the bookshelves.

Some of the books donated to the Friends of the Lacey Library are rare or more valuable than what we sell at our usual book sales (where the prices average $1). These books are offered for sale on the Internet at Biblio.com. The prices are more than a dollar, but they are still a bargain, and will be delivered to your door! Come check us out!
