If you live, work, or shop in the Hawks Prairie area on Martin Way, consider stopping by the Hawks Prairie Timberland Library. It is staffed and operated by the Lacey Timberland Library.
It was created to provide library services to an underserved area with high patron traffic. Services include Wi-Fi, computers, printing/scanning/faxing, hold pickups, and book returns, all free with a Timberland Regional Library card. And, of course, it has its own collection of books for you to browse and check out. It offers Family Story Time on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
You will also find a kiosk selling books from the Friends of the Lacey Library. Our members visit frequently to keep it stocked with new books for sale, and they are a bargain!
Library hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday
