Books for Sale

At the Library

Carol and Art Book Place

Named in honor of Carol and Art Getchman, founders of the used book sale for the Friends of the Lacey Library. The Book Place is a kiosk where used books may be purchased any time the Lacey Timberland Library is open. There are great deals on gently used paperbacks, hardbacks, children’s books and more. Operating on the honor system, payment is placed in the depository next to the bookshelves.

Browse Our eBay Shop

Most of the books donated to the Friends of the Lacey Library are sold at our bimonthly book sales or at the Book Place in the Lacey Library. They are a great price at $1 each or 25¢ for children’s books.

However, we sometimes receive book donations that are rare, unusual, or just too valuable to sell for $1. We are offering these books for sale on eBay. They sell for a higher price, but are still a bargain.
